Countdown for iOS 1.3 introduces a custom interface for VoiceOver and Switch Control users, and Dynamic Type support

February 1st, 2019

Available on February 11th as a free update, VoiceOver, Switch Control, and Dynamic Type users will now be able to take advantage of the full Countdown experience.

Countdown is deeply commited to Accessibility.

Countdown 1.3 introduces support for Dynamic Type, and improves VoiceOver and Switch Control support. VoiceOver and Switch Control users will be greeted with an all new user experience, designed to fit their needs.

Custom Accessibility UI

Countdown now displays content in a List for VoiceOver and Switch Control users. This design was created so VoiceOver and Switch Control users will feel right at home.

The new Accessibility interface

This interface is available for all users, and can be enabled in Countdown's settings.

Dynamic Type Support

Countdown 1.3 fully supports Dynamic Type, so users with a prefered text size or users with partial visual impairment can use Countdown.

With Dynamic Type, someone with a vision impairment can use Countdown. This picture is an example of how a user with a vision impairment might see the app.

Countdown 1.3 is available February 11th as a free update to all users. Countdown for iOS is available as a free app, with a Premium in-app-purchase available for $0.99. Countdown for Mac is available for $0.99.
